My focus is on raising long-haired miniature dachshunds in a variety of colors and patterns, with an emphasis on temperament, early socialisation, health, and thoughtful placement.
I care just as much that the new families are ready to welcome their puppy into their home and provide guidance before they take their puppy home. I take time to temperament test all puppies to assist with placement because the right match matters, and I want every puppy to have the best chance to become their most confident, well-adjusted self.
- In Love with DoxiesI chose the name Kindred because it captures exactly how I felt when I was first introduced to miniature long-haired dachshunds. I was immediately taken by their personality — playful and funny, yet remarkably easygoing and deeply affectionate. They have a way of being present without being demanding, and that combination stayed with me.
That feeling is what I want this program to reflect. Kindness, kinship, and the deeper meaning of connection — not as ideas, but as actions. After over two decades of devotion to another breed, it was an easy choice to add miniature dachshunds to the household.
